Details Internship program for LLB students

Role: LLB Internship Programme 2025 in the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice.

Internship profile: To train law students (pursuing law course) and expose them to the field of law research, legal advice related to constitutional or administrative law, arbitration, contract law, economic law, finance law, infrastructure law, court functioning procedures.  

Career benefits: For existing students it is a great chance to get first hand exposure to many aspects of law application into real life scenarios as well as practical exposure to the same. Someone aiming for a corporate career or advocacy stands to benefit a lot.  

Duration: The internship shall be for a period of one month starting from August 1st and till August 31st 2025 unless specified otherwise vide any notification by DOLA.

Eligibility

For students who are pursuing their LLB program, they should have cleared 2nd year of their 3-year LLB or 3rd year of their 5-year LLB. 

Students who have completed their LLB program and have passed the same can also apply for this internship. 

Application Procedure

Interested applicants can go to the website https://legalaffairs.gov.in/internship/form.php and fill out the relevant details as required. 

A No Objection Letter or Certificate is required from the respective law college or law university if the student is pursuing his or her LLB course

For those who have completed the course and passed the exams, No Objection Letter or Certificate is not required. Such students should submit a final year certificate. 

The form has to be submitted and the documents have to be uploaded on or before the last day mentioned.  (As of now July 9th is mentioned in the website).
